Inside the jar
There's jeera powder. And then there's jeera that has been roasted until its aroma fills the kitchen.
At Imamdasta, we don't simply grind cumin and call it Bhuna Jeera.
We first roast the jeera to perfection, bringing out its deep, warm, nutty character. Only then is it ground into a fine, aromatic powder — so you get that unmistakable bhuna jeera aroma and flavour in every spoonful.
Because sometimes, the difference between an ordinary dish and “Wah, kya banaya hai!” is just one little sprinkle.
Why Our Bhuna Jeera Tastes Different
We Roast Before We Grind.
Roasting transforms cumin.
It takes away the raw, sharp character and brings forward a deep, warm, earthy and slightly nutty aroma that makes Bhuna Jeera so irresistible.
Our jeera is roasted carefully following the traditional way to unlock that flavour before being ground, helping you experience the spice at its most aromatic.
And just like everything from Imamdasta — maa ki rasoi se — it is made with care rather than treated like just another commodity spice.
